/ MY STORY

Hello, Prodeep here. At the age of 54 I decided to change my love for listening to music. My love for music originates from my teenage years. In the 80s I could often be found at the record store to listen to the latest dance releases. I often went home with a dozen maxi singles.

At that time there were also radio broadcasts that played mixes of records, such as the 'Bond van doorstarters' at Ferry Maat's Soulshow every Thursday evening, and 'In the mix' every Friday night and the annual 'Grandmix' by Ben Liebrand.
Every Friday night I would sneak into my oldest brother's room - who was snoring happily - just before 2:00 AM to record 'In te mix' for an hour.

The money I earned from part-time jobs was mostly spent on buying vinyl (and later CD's) and sound equipment. Inspired as I was by the DJ's and mixers, I then also started mixing myself. At my father's work I had a custom frame made for a mixing desk in which I could store my turntables, mixing console, cassette decks etc.

My friends loved listening to my mixes.

During my studies I didn't do much mixing anymore; music remained a matter of listening and enjoying. In 2016 my love for making music was born.

And that's where I am now, offering services to artists and producing music. Doing the things I love. And I enjoy every moment in these processes.

Nice to meet you!
